Warehouse Automation

Perfect Pick

Simplified Order Fulfillment

Perfect Pick® is a truly unique robotic goods-to-person picking technology engineered to simplify order fulfillment automation with increased throughput, reliability and cost effectiveness. Perfect Pick’s “one touch” design is based on a single automated component – the iBOT, technology which eliminates the complexity of lifts, conveyors, or multiple transfer points.

Robotic Technology. One-Touch Design.

Perfect Pick offers retailers and manufacturers the opportunity to invest in an automated warehouse order picking system to meet today’s challenges rapidly and accurately, secure in the knowledge that they can quickly and easily adjust to often unpredictable future demands and business cycles.

Implementing or upgrading an automated order fulfillment system can be a daunting undertaking, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses that may not have the time, money and other resources required to implement and support these large, complex systems. Perfect Pick offers a lower-cost, standalone system that can enable more efficient and accurate picking, making automation feasible for companies that would have previously considered it beyond their reach.

Self-Contained. iBOT-Powered.

Unlike more traditional goods-to-person solutions on the market today, Perfect Pick is a self-contained, standalone point solution. A Perfect Pick aisle is comprised of modular, high-density racking along with a fleet of autonomous robotic delivery vehicles, iBOTs, which can access every storage location within their aisle – both horizontally and vertically. iBOTs deliver inventory directly to a workstation located at one or both ends of the aisle. This direct interface eliminates the need for complex conveyor systems or transfer equipment, such as elevators or lifts, which add complexity to the system. Perfect Pick’s traffic control software monitors the position of all order picking bots in the aisle and directs their movements to ensure full resource optimization and operational efficiency.

Key Features

iBOT Technology

iBOTS can access every storage location within their aisle – both horizontally and vertically. iBOTs deliver inventory up to 80 lbs. directly to a workstation located at one or both ends of the aisle.

OPEX Workstation

As individual items are picked from Perfect Pick, they are placed directly into shipping boxes or totes on the OPEX Workstation.  Each container moves along the conveyors and across zero-height transfers from its pick-to-light location.

The OPEX Workstation is closely integrated with Perfect Pick's hardware and software systems, reducing latencies and optimizing overall system performance.

Pick-to-Light

Get orders right the first time, every time, with screen and light-directed picking that ensures accuracy even at high volumes.

Cortex ECS

The Cortex equipment control system keeps track of local tote/cell inventory, making integration with warehouse management systems (WMS) quick and easy.  Cortex utilizes color-coordinated pick-to-light, order progress indicators, a large touch screen, display and overhead illumination of the cell to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
