Efficient Mailroom Management

In a single pass, Mail Matrix can sort a wide variety of envelopes intermixed with small parcels to over a thousand sort destinations. There is no need to presort by size, thickness, or any other criteria; just drop the item on the feed conveyor or use the automated feeder for envelopes and let Mail Matrix do the work for you.
Feeders
The Mail Matrix allows operators to choose how mail is fed into the system with options for hand-dropping and automatic feeding. Its optional Automatic Mixed-Mail Feeder can process up to 3,600 pieces per hour. It can handle a variety of mail types, including magazines, flats, envelopes, and small parcels up to five pounds.
Operator Station
The Mail Matrix Operator Station has a user-friendly interface and includes a computer, monitor, keyboard, and Mail Matrix Host Software. The software facilitates iBOT traffic control, location visualization, system diagnostics, iBOT diagnostics, and performance reporting. Operators can access keying software and connect to external databases via an Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) connector.
iBOT
iBOTs are intelligent wireless robots in the Mail Matrix that facilitate fast and efficient mail sorting. They are highly energy efficient, recharging as they move through the system. Each iBOT acts independently of the others to ensure the system remains up even if one of the iBOTs needs to be removed for repair.
Delivery Bins
The delivery bins are densely packed to maximize floor space utilization. Jobs can be set up so that each bin is a unique delivery location, or if a delivery location requires, two or more bins can be assigned to a delivery location. The bins are transparent so the operator can see if there is media in them when sweeping the machine. If a bin has been removed to be emptied, the Mail Matrix will not attempt delivery to that location until the bin has been replaced.
Structure/Modules
The Mail Matrix is designed to expand to 11 expansion modules and supports up to 26 iBOTs. The system features front and rear doors for iBOT access and machine maintenance.
